I have to just post how good they are !
Last week i was having a few problems with my Mx518, so decided to write off to logitech tech support to see if they could help me solve the problem. I told them the problem I was having and they suggested a few things I could try to see if it'd fix it, it didn't. I wrote back saying the same thing was still happening, so they asked for my details so they could post me a new mouse for FREE ! and it's just arrived now :D:D:D

Fantastic customer support. :D

Yeah i have had similar experiences with logitech and my G5. I rang them up though, but still they sent a new G5 out straight away as the fault was apparently a common one!

Trust me these guys are too nice. One user on here (who later got caught) managed to get several thousands of pounds worth of gear out of them through their lax policies.

It is something to be wary of. When companies do have great customer service, there will always be people lining up to [wrongfully] milk it dry.

Which either means that it goes away or the company goes bust.

Its frustrating when a company has an excellent customer service record but then fails spectacularly when it comes to making software for their own devices. Anyone with experience of the 64bit webcam drivers around 18 months ago will know what I'm talking about.

I was having problems with my mx3100 desktop combo, specifically the mx1000 thumb buttons not working.

They are sending me a mx3200, but wanted me to send back the reciever and keyboard legs.

Was hoping they wouldnt want anything back so i would have a spare set :(

On the flip side, they are replacing my 3 year old keyboard with a newer version

Likewise.

The fuse went on my Z5500 speakers.

They sent a new one through the post pretty sharpish.

I will always use tham, they have the best customer services I have ever seen. When my Z5400's gave up after 18 months I phoned them up. It was a friday night. They offered me a set of Z5450's which I did not want because of the plug in rear speakers.

They then sent me a brand new set of Z5500's.

The man on the phone then started giving me an address in europe. I asked what for, he said to send the Z5400's too. I said no chance the postage would cost me the price of the speakers. So he then says don't bother then.

Monday morning my new speakers arrived. I have heard they ask for the cable to be cut off the control box to prove you can no longer use them.

I know it's open to abuse but I wouldn't purely because the customer service is so good I wouldn't want to ruin it.
