Rock Band instruments, can be used on ps3?

Im in the process of selling my 360, i dont know whether to get another or not, but if i bought an import rock band, would the instruments in a box work on the ps3 version? They are all usb.
 
On my 360 rockband has anyone notice that you have an USB adapter from the lead connected to the drums, why have an adapter why not just make the lead standard USB? or is it used for something else (mine kinda looks like an old Keyboard/mouse port, then I have a little connector/wire that is about 20cm long and makes it USB?
 
breakaway cable for safety iirc. Incase the xbox falls from a shelf and where to land on a small child it could cause serious harm. It's in the manual :p

Although I seriously doubt you'd be wandering around the room with the drums....
 
I will buy another one, but the bundles at the moment have games i dont want or already have, so i thought id wait till the newer games come out and bag a better bundle. I need to rebuy about 10 games i play anyway, so if i see a decent bundle id pick it up.

My daughter plays rock band all the time though, so would be a short term fix.
 
arcade 360 is repoetedly going down to $200 so prob be about 125 quid here. cant say better than that.

thats good news, any idea when they're dropping in price?

I need a new 360 now and wouldnt mind a falcon chipset and warranty again (been that long i've forgotten what warranty's like lol)
