Just got an new N95, what now!?

The only let down is the GPS, I found it innacurate and slow at updating my current position.

on the normal n95 its posable to put the tomtom softwear on it witch is miles better then the one that comes with it so u sud be able to get the tomtom softwear for the n95i (8gig)

It needs to be 'online' to search for post codes. Shouldn't matter if it's WiFi or GPRS/3G though.

So the reason its not finding my postcodes i give it is becasuse it is not connected to my wireless broadband network? How do i make it connect to GPRS/3G instead, and is it free?

I cant for the love of god work out how to transfer pictures from the phone to the pc. I have read that there should be browser software within NOkia PC Suite but i cant see it and i have eveything installed that came on the nokia disk?!!!!!!!! :( :(

in nokia browser phone memory or memory card "images" copy paste in out from there,, just like a pc, or use a usb cable and mass storage you can copy paste like to a mem card,

tomtom works on the 8gb version also there a BinPDA BT use of the internal gps for tomtom to use that as well.

very simple phone to use and easy to add remove stuff.....

Its free if you use your WIFI connection, and depending on who your with...its all dependant on whether you have an unlimited data plan like tmobiles webnwalk...if you do then it should be free for any internet usage.

As mentioned in a previous thread you can use Tom Tom using the internal GPS however it requires some questionable software.

I can say myself that Garmin works excellent with the internal GPS.

I use Garmin XT on mine and it works well, I recently went to dublin for the weekend and used it to find the hotel....
The last time i went to dublin i used a dedicated sat nav from Silvercrest, It kept loosing gps connection and had me going in circles once i got into dublin itself, with the n95 8gb and Garmin xT, I had a strong signal the enire trip and got to the hotel without a hitch, excellent bit of software and kit :)

oo is it hard to set up on the phone? and well is it browser based really? i.e. needs a internet connection too? i would assume it would use the gps for position, but loading the maps and finding route? also does it have voice directions?
