Interested in seeing how many have been holding out for one, im sorta considering it but i think launch day is gonna bring plenty of "WTF" posts when it finally goes on sale be it here or anywhere else.

Does my credit card need another £350 ish of debt? :(

depends just how much ocuk bump the price, how impatient i get, and how much money i actually have at the time

I do find it hard to resist shiny new graphics cards it has to be said, but this time around, and after being an early adopter of both the 8800GT and the 4850 and paying a little more than perhaps I should have, I'm going to wait.

The sensible part of me also recognises that my current setups can handle all the games I throw at them at 1680 x 1050, so I don't really NEED a 4870X2...

I'm really looking forward to reading about those that do get one though, which will probably tip me over the edge!! :)

The un-sensible part of me is thinking if i buy a 4870X2, it's a cracking reason to buy a 30" Hazro to actually stress it out :D

Off to the States in September, I will pick one up then :)

Likewise! Though i'l be keeping an eye on gtx 280 prices as well..

Surely even if you've got the money and want one you'd not pre-order or buy on day 1 until you've read several proper reviews ? Things like heat, PSU requirements, driver maturity, game support etc,etc need to be confirmed first ?

Yeah... but that's all a bit boring isn't it? :D
