4) What do you believe in ?
Vague question is vague.
5) Are you in control of your destiny ?
No, nobody is. You have no control whatsoever. Your thoughts and subsequent actions are merely reactions to the current environment which has been brought about by an unbroken chain of events running since the beginning of time.
Every decision you will ever make is almost like an equation involving all these factors such as your surroundings, the way you brain works...etc, all of which are in the state that they are because of the unbroken chain of events running since the beginning of time. The outcome will always be exactly the same assuming the factors involved are exactly the same, just like in Mathematics. Essentially everything you will ever do has already been determined.
The feeling of being in control of your thoughts, actions and therefore destiny or future, is an illusion.

When and why will the human become extinct?

*nods* I don't really believe in anything.Hehe, yeah I found those 2 responses a bit contradictory, but I figured the answer to 4 was just quoting the song rather than any real answer![]()
No, you don't. Your decision will be the same every time assuming all factors involved are the same. You don't have any influence over the factors involved because they are determined by the chain of events that has been running since the start of time.
Your brain is just a system like any other, although a very complex one. In principle it's not much different to punching numbers into a calculator and getting the answer.
Maybe some people do use this as an excuse for not taking responsibility of their lives, but that is not the reason why it exists. This philosophy has been born out of some of the most intelligent minds to ever grace this planet.
