I'm putting money in a saving club with a certain games store towards a 60gb PS3. OMG Me saving for a PS3

I Hope it gets lots of Square Enix support. I'm buying it so can play all the FF games on one console. Apart from FF3 which I have on my DS.

People say get a PS2 and a 40Gb PS3 but surely this is like telling Wii owners that they can buy DVD players really cheap now so there's no need for DVD playback on the Wii. At the end of the day it's about being minimal. I already have a Wii 360 etc. With the 60gb model I won't need my PS2.

Get a PS2 and play FFXIII on your 360:p

VsXIII is still PS3 exclusive if you're interested in that.
 
With the PS3 version having Vs in the title do you think there will be any small differences between the PS3 and 360 version of FF13.
 
VSXIII is a seperate game based in the same universe as XIII. Much like FFXII taking place in the same world as FF:Tactics. It's apparently an action RPG
 
The localized PS3 version of Final Fantasy 13 will be out a long time before the 360 version. So the time scale is significantly different, Also theres no way of telling what the differences are, 360 version according to most interviews wont even be started until all PS3 localizations are finished.

Also Versus is a totally different storyline to Final Fantasy 13, and the game play hasnt been shown yet.

We're making the PS3 version first, and then porting to the 360 later. That means that since the game will be released simultaneously on both platforms in North America and Europe, the PS3 release will be held back in those territories until the 360 version is complete.

Every article I've read so far quite clearly states that it will be a simultaneous launch in North America and Europe on both PS3 & 360. They also said the exact same thing at the Square-Enix press conference at E3.

Unless you know something I don't as far as I am concerned it is still going to come out at the same time on both platforms, with the Jap version (PS3) coming out first like always.

Up until only recently i have been pretty indifferent to delays as i've always had plenty of titles i'm yet to play. However now it seems everything is being delayed, it's just getting tiresome and i'm getting short on games :(
