Finally got my new car today.. I know its going to be slated by some of the people here as it was when I posted here for ideas, but I'm happy with it, it looks good and it drives good.. Plus I didn't pay anywhere near the asking price!

My Leon FR.. 07 plate with 14k miles!

The model below the Cupra version is the FR.

Not just diesel, they do a petrol one as well with the Golf GTI engine in it.

I got it for about £13k so its not as bad as the price on the screen.

IIRC, according to some magazines, it is the best one to buy of the range, as it has sporty looks, is priced well and has a good engine in it.

The silver mirrors look really nice in person - old workmate has a previous shape Leon Cupra FR in the same red with silver mirrors and it looks slick. Don't know if they suit the new shape Leon though as they're quite a bit far out from the body so look slightly out of place maybe?

I quite like them, think they really suit it. Doesn't help that my photo is a bit washed out and the colours suck, but they do look much better in the flesh!

Loads of VAG cars seem to have the silver mirrors now. Is anybody aware where it started? I thought it was on the old Leon FR but may be mistaken!
