Antec 300 - PSU Upside Down?

it makes more sense to mount it so the fans at the top. but ive been using it fan facing down now for a fair long time and had no problems. its ok either way.

well, this is how ive got mine and its running no problem what so ever. though i would leave a little gap inbetween psu and graphics card at least about 2 inches. not sure if you would call that upside down or what have you.

you could put it the right way and just modify the bottom of the case to let the warm air out, i think that would probably be a good option as upside down seems a bit risky to me being prone to something dropping in it like a screw or something. not good lol.

You dont need to mod anything, here's corsair talking about the antec 300 and upside down mounting of the PSU. It may be different for other companies but I doubt it.

"If the PSU sits flush against the bottom of your case then I would install it upside down. If you have even a few millimeters underneath the PSU, then you should be able to install it right side up."

So its fine either way.

Also to the above poster PSU's suck air in and expel it out the back.

well thats true^ i hant had any problems so far and the air doesnt seem to be particularly hot.

Well if corsair say just a few millimeters is fine then no trouble at all in this case. I can get my whole finger in the gap.
