At least PC pirates have to pay if they want to play online games, I remember on the original Xbox (Had a modded one) you were forced to buy retail games if you wanted to play them online, but now with the Xbox 360 it's pretty epic how you can download and still play online.

08 was pretty poor tbh. Was a major stepdown/cut from 07 imo. Use to play 07 all the time until I got Everybody's Golf a few months back.
 
Hmm not sure if i will get this, was somewhat dissapointed with 08 on the ps3, now if they introduced and online feature that gives the DNF to the actual person who disconnects casue they sliced thier tee shot into the trees, i have a 16% dnf and i havent disconnected once while playing, i would be intrested.
 
Looking forward to this, the addition of th coach sounds interesting :) Would imagine the 360 version will be getting purchased :D
 
I'll be getting this for PS3. Really liked 08 (even though the putting was far too easy), except for the fact that I've always preferred the 3 click swing - but when you moved up to 'pro'? level, that option seemed to go & you had to use the thumb stick! :(
