Buying a mondeo

What possible use are Xenon fogs?

Given that unless you are a Grade A moron you only use them when driving through thick fog in awful weather why does it matter how 'cool' they look?

Xenon Fogs sounds like the sort of idea that only King of the Chavs would be interested in.

That sounds awesome! Got ebay link?

a link for what?

But you never see them turned on unless you are one of those morons who drives around town with his fogs on

no i never use my fogs and i hate people who do, but like at car shows and stuff it will be good to show them off

none what so ever but they look cool:D
You mean they look good on the car, i.e. the lense/bulb itself? As you probably only need to use fog lamps about once a year on average, so seems a bit pointless. Also people are more concerned at looking at the road and not crashing whilst driving in fog, then looking at a Fiat Punto.

Aim for a facelift (53 plate onwards) if possible. The facelift smartened up the interior and added quite a bit of gear to some trim levels.

I picked up my 53 plate 2.5 Ghia X (with lots of extras) for £3500 recently, needed a basic service and a refurb on the wheels, apart from that its in great condition.

Highly recommended. Something similar for you would be ideal I reckon.

i mean like car meets ect and yeh they usually go on until pretty late

hid kit's are only £40

new H11 nightbreakers would be like £25-30

my fog light bulbs are really yellow and nasty at the moment so i might aswell spend an extra tenner and get a nice pure white 4300K kit

Fogs are just a safety thing - it doesnt matter how yellow they are. I bet you can count on one hand the times you use them each year.

Im sure £40 HID kits are awesome quality.

ummm yeh thats why they're are going in the fogs

my oem xenons(dipped beam) cost £200 and were off a wrote off 56 plate st220, it was a £500 option on the car and ford charge £800 for replacement lamps

Xenon fogs seem a good idea, brightest possible light when you need it the most.
