Tough one - Antec 900 Water cooled build!!

hmm m- not good - looks like my 620 corsair hx psu is busted!!

Tried to fire up properly tonight and nothing - just dead - wired up my old tatty tagan psu and system works fine.

Very Very quick viewing shows about 3/4 degree drop at idle 30,27,32,33 (@ 1.425v in bios) but the best bit at 100% across all 4 cores - 45,43,44,47 - this was hitting nearly 60 when folding at home but now nearly a 15 degree loss in temps on the cpu and a quick glance at the gpu shows a 10 degree drop at idle!!!

Good stuff apart from the busted psu - Looks like about £20 to rma to holland - not sure i can be arsed with that!! New psu time me thinks!

lol shame that your PSU has gone. Ah well least you have a w/c kit that works. Have you got everything working? would love to see some pics of everything in action:)

I'm assuming you bought it in the UK, send it back to the store you got it from.

got it from members market about 6 months ago - trying to contact seller just now - but raised an rma with corsair anyway.

Will put a bit of a delay on the overall build, but planning on mounting the hard drives etc later today and the fan controller

quick update - system back up and running using old psu for the time being.

Decided to put everything back to stock levels for now until i get clocking again.

Temps are amazing at stock - 25,23,27,28 !!!!Never knew they could get so low!!

Waiting on RMA reply for the psu

wow that it is really low like for a quad. glad your happy with it. I think i'll be doing something similiar. Im not sure about mounting the resevoir on top though. I move my pc around a lot and im concered that it'll get knocked. How did you mount the radiator where the driver bays are? have you still got the stock fans on the otherside?

Why not trim that tubing to length and tidy it up a bit?

well done! thats a fantastic looking pc (the pink one lol, green is a bit messy :S) i think im gonna do the same with my case, especially spraying the insides matblack, its amazing how much better it looks without the hideous grey!

nope ditched the stock fans for some yate loons so that i can connect them up to a fan controller. Nothing wrong with the stock fans but made it easier to connect to a fan controller as the antec stock ones don't have 3 wires.
