The usual details of a car, duh.

'Yea, its an 88 1.3 in Green with 40k on it'

'90, faded blue, needs some T-cut love, 135-ish k on it. One owner from new, slight odour of Spaniel on a very hot day.

Too low like complaining that a band is too loud?

No, not really. We can only deal with the aesthetics of the vehicle in question. Which, IMO, leaves it looking poor as it sits too low to look good.

i *really* like that. A lot. Although, it's far too low for me. I dotn really like this whole lowering fashion. It suits some cars i guess but it's not for me. Otherwise, i really like it ;)

Gets the thumbs up from me, only thing i don't like is the front grill, its a sport grill but without the badge, i think the grill looks too big without the badge.

Also it needs front fogs, it finishes off the front of the car :)

Well done good sir overall thats a nice looking B5.5

I fear that my analogy has gone over your head.

Good luck getting over speed humps and ramps in that ;) Wouldn't last 5 minutes around my way.

I can imagine it without rear seats, with a coffin in the back, though :D

It's on air. A flick of the switch and it will sit a foot off the floor.

The assumption was that you were saying I was too old, like old people complaining about noisy music.

It wasn't a very good analogy really, too many possibles.

I've re-read what he said many times and I cannot possibly imagine where you've managed to get that from.

Have to agree, given Penski's penchant for low rides the analogy was just another example of something that "isn't possible".

Whereas I'd read his original post many times and not come up with any reasonable explanation as regard to meaning.

[edit]It is perfectly possible for a band to be too loud

So what powers this one, a fabulous 1.9 TDI no doubt?

Not really relevant...Would the engine choice change your opinion of the aesthetics?

Could be a twin-turbo W12, could be a 1.9TDI with a misfire on two pots...I still think it looks great.
