made to measure car mats

Be interesting to see the quality of them and thickness once you get them! (pics!) - I just ordered a new set on ebay from a dealer's store for £69 (£10 ebay discount), compared to the main dealer price of £75+VAT that's a bargain b ut if those tailored ones are good then i know what to get next time round should an accident happen or anyone asks if I know of a good alternative!

I got some custom fit ones made up from JustMatz, not as deep pile as I was expecting - but still better than the dealer ones and they look miles better, and look like they will be hard wearing too (hopefully).

The pics on the website aren't very detailed hehe, I just wanted to see how far the piles erect from the base, also the thickness of the carpet itself ?

I've always found dealer issue mats to be the best, perfect colour match / fit and usually very good quality (unless you buy Renault ones!)

I ordered some mats from this site and I'll never use them again.

It took them 8 weeks to fulfil the order and when they eventually came through the colour schemes were wrong (despite being correct on the purchase form). Two weeks later and we received the correct carpets however their customer response times were shocking.

They are hardly cheap either...

Indeed, i have tried alternatives but every time ive ended up getting the proper ones.

Fit better and generally last better.

Its actually funny because its true, i only did 35k in my Clio from new (3 years) however i went through 3 drivers floor mats, load of junk!

I didn't have a drivers mat in mine when I got it, but the state of the passenger mat was enough to convince me to get a set made up from elsewhere.

To be honest, I wasn't really keen on spending much on mats - but I really like them now they're in. Shame they couldn't do them with the RenaultSport logo on them.

Thanks man!

They look quite thick and tough but there's a sheen effect to them, the manufacturer ones are usually velour I think so have that fat fibre matt look to them!

Am i missing something here when i say that my OEM mats fit perfectly and are nicely embroidered and badged to go with my interior. Dont mazda make mats for your car?

I got my Golf ones from VW. They were about £15 for all 4 and are excellent quality and come with the proper fixing. Much cheaper than any of the online stores or Ebay.

Did not even bother asking them, they wanted nearly £200 for a rear view mirror and the same amount again for a rubber door seal
