There are a lot that only have half a season available too... as for it being free, no it isn't, you pay a subscription.

Please don't turn this into Sky vs. Virgin debate!

I too have Virgin, I use it, not much but still nice to have.

I'd like my mum/dad to get using it too but that's providing hard.

If it is going to be a deal 'catcher' they need to complete the missing seasons/episodes and have atleast 1 or 2 adverts to annouce such. They plug it for a bit then stopped?

Music on demand also is a nice touch!

All free if you are a XL customer?

The on demand is good. However, I watched one episodes of The Sopranos, went back to watch more the next day and they deleted it and added some season 2 :(:(

It is a great service, just a shame that they've decided to drive me away through shoddy service, no phone line for 5 months and intermittent internet for the last 2, next week i switch back to freeview/ADSL and couldn't be happier.

Still does not equal free in any way, shape or form though does it.

Ahahah you must be a right pleasure to live with - single I take it?

I pay less money for the same channels. In addition FOR FREE I get the on demand services which are excellent - kind of the aim of my first post

Some of the Virgin stuff is good, but their EPG is soooooo slow compared to Sky. We've got both which is handy though as we get the best of each.

I've gotta call Virgin tomorrow to see if I can blag a discount on a V+ box....really not looking forward to the call, useless CS if I ever saw it :(

does if you're on the free package.

depends on line quality.

Sky for us was way slower than I have ever seen virgin, for me virgin is speedy, sky was slow.as.****, granted it was with a 1st generation PACE box, but it depends purely on line quality/hardware etc doesnt it.
