My Funeral Service

Sorry for anyone getting their hopes up, but I'm not in the process of dieing quite yet.

So anyway, most people in this country still have a Christian style funeral regardless of their beliefs. Personally I really don't like the idea of a Christian funeral as I'm just not a believer. Yes I believe in a spiritual aspect to life but the idea of Jesus and God and the kingdom of heaven are just not things I would really want included in my service.

With the high numbers of Atheists on this board what are you lot going to do about it? Are you just going to accept that a vicar will be conducting a Christian service for you and don't care, or do you want to make sure their is no mention of anything religious?
 
Stuff yourself in an oven and ask to be re-housed in a jar or something, I am sure it can't be that expensive.
 
I don't give a monkeys what kind of funeral I have, its a ceremony for the benefit of those we leave behind. They can do what they want as far as I'm concerned - I sure as hell won't know anything about it.

My family know I'm to be left at the hospital to be cut up and then all the leftovers burnt in the hospital big oven.
My wake is to have 3 songs played - That'll be The Day, Theres A Ghost In My House & Enter Sandman.
 
I have informed my family that my funeral needs to involve the stone sarcophagus being placed in a large stone pyramid. this has to be then pulled on wooden rollers on to a large wooden ship. This is then sailed out into the sea and set on fire ... causing it to sink. and the pyramid fall to the ocean floor. Actual implementation details are left to them.

Also my coffin should contain various small items from different historical periods to confuse future series of Time Team.

I would like to be launched into space, to one day be picked up by some extra terrestrials, who will bring me back to life. I will then guide them towards earth, letting them know of all our secrets, our weaknesses etc.

I will then lead my new alien brothers (and sisters) in war with Earth, dominating the planet and eventually being left as ruler of Earth.

Prolly longer than my plans then.

I'll settle for a quick burn-up, a few fave music tracks and a good **** up for anyone who I know thats still alive :p Dont really care that much when im gone - and im not religious.
