Just wondering if this can cause any problems. Thinking of dropping the stock fan speed on my 8800GTS G80 below the standard 60% with Rivatuner. :)
 
Just watch the temps - aslong as its under ~80C it shouldn't be a problem at all - although lower idle/load temps will result in the card lasting longer.

It will only be for idle. Have set up a fan profile to increase the speed at certain temperature points for when i'm gaming etc.

The only reason why i want to do this is because the card is idling at 49c which is pretty damn good for the stock cooler lol. :D
