what i picked up most is around 0:25secs into it when he is describing arsenal champions league, the players, the emirates etc

i could barely watch after that

thats what a lot of people do when talking to foreigners even when they might not need too. usually people trying to be nice... making it easier for the listener

he knows dutch people wont know every single english word. especially rarely used ones or slang. the pauses he makes are him trying to think of words that they will more likely understand.

the only stupidity is him not realising how good the interviewers english was and that it was getting translated anyway...

tbh what ripper deanje and I picked up on sums it up, his pauses were always part of his interview technique, the guys a retard, its quite easy to see hes talking crap when you sit and watch him

dhesis is about 100metres away. po wai and the gay supermarket is even closer. and thats as close to posting my address on the interent as im going to get for now :p

Aye, sums it up pretty well. It wasn't just his accent, it was more the language he used and the quote that was picked epitomised what I was trying to say.

To be fair when I'm talking with foreigners I do simplify and slow down my language quite a bit.

Although, I don't go so far as changing my accent.
