Is a pin-stripe suit to a wedding ok?

Just a bit of fashion advice...

I've got to go to a wedding next week as best man for a uni friend. Don't have a suit at the moment as I don't ever need one for work or what not.

I'm broke as a joke at the moment so can borrow a suit from my brother but it will have to be a pin-stripe one. Is that ok? I have a thought in my mind that it might not be suitable for a wedding.

It depends on the wedding really, if you're best man you should really match up with the groom to an extent, find out what he's wearing

If you are the best man and the groom is in a morning suit (traditional wedding suit for the blokes) you should be too, as will his father, brides father and the ushers.

If not, find out what the groom is wearing and match up with that, remember you'll never see him again if you upset the bride!

Best man should always match groom...

If just attending, wear anything formal. Maybe not a wedding dress though - might not go down well.

I went to an Italian wedding a couple of years ago, just like you would imagine, loads of big blokes in black suits and dark glasses, there was even a kid of about 5 years old dressed the same

Its not a traditional wedding there's no matching suits or what not.

I did do, but I think he's got to the stage of organisation for this where he's liable to agree to any thing

I remember the feeling, guess he is rather stressed if its just next week! As long as its smart and you look presentable it'll be ok.
