You do realise that all these free games in the 'Powerpack' are just the old PhysX games/demos that have been out for ages that everyone laughed at becuase PhysX was so pointless and useless...

(and having owned a PhysX card I can assure you now you won't be impressed with the free stuff).

I cant get PhysX to work in UT3. The PhysX maps run the same in hardware and software. The fluid demo runs at 30fps in hradware and 3fps in software so I know hardware does work. Also, the dark physics demos run the same in both hardware and software mode.

What the hell were nvidia thinking, affiliating themselves with this poorest of poor tech demos?

Worse physics, worse textures, worse animations than most 2005/6 games!

No the main point is, the tech demos and games that use it are still rubbish.

The only game that actually benefits from PhysX to any useful degree is UT3 as it actually increases your FPS by ofloading work to the card, however how much of that performance increase you'll get with GPU physx I am not sure.
