Over 20 pounds for FF7 are people insane.

That's RPGs in general, not FF7.

If you don't like FF7 you don't like the genre, period.

Exactly.

I love it. It's boring to some, Not to others.

Just like 99% of things in the world :)

I have a new copy of FF7 I managed to get it from a store a while back for £10, I was a little disapointed because it's the platinum edition, I wanted the original with original box art. But you pay considerably more for that.

I bought Suikoden the day it came out way back when, didn't think much of it, took it back. Looking at the price now, I wish I'd kept it :p.

Ive got a nice original copy of ff7 in preistine condition :). My couisn has 6-7-8-9 all originals for ps1 :)

I've got the PC Version of FF7 that I brought on when it came out and that goes for £30+ on the bay it's pretty rare compared to the PS1 version. FF8 on the PC goes for a lot as well.

Got FF6,8 & 9 on the PS1.

Yeah I had a copy, loved it but needed the cash for moar games, so traded it in. Now it's worth loads and I really want to play it again :(

In terms of willy-waving, I have a pristine copy of Secret of Mana (US Version) for the SNES - that's going on the bay when I need some cash...

Given that we're all talking about what Final Fantasy's we own, should I bring up the 40 odd unique originals that I own...? It's about 18 months since I photographed 'the collection'...

I use to collect the Final Fantasy games that were sealed and in perfect condition.

Sold them off in 2005 and made over £800. (to fund travelling for a year).

Dont regret a thing because it takes up space and is hassel having to make sure they are kept in good condition only to look at it.

I have all picture disc originals of origins, anthology, 6, 7, 8, 9, X, X-2 and 12. I also have near mint official guides for every single game except 6 (not sure there ever was one). The guides to origins and anthology are worth more than the games themselves :)

The title of this thread is ridiculous...
£20 for one of the best games ever made? Oh no... How could anyone ever face paying a whole £20 for it?
It's hardly a lot of money and it's not your average POS game that gets forgotten about a couple years from release.
