Just got a wireless pad for my 360. Is it ok to use rechargeable nimh batteries with it?

I read somewhere that the rumble might not be as strong as with alkaline.

I've been using Uniross 2500s and 2700s since 2005 just fine. Just be aware they don't give you any warning when they're about to run out.

The battery of the play 'n' charge kit is just two 2100mAh NiMH AA cells in a fancy plastic box so, yeah, I'd say you'll be fine :D

Yep, although check the thickness of the rechargables compared to standard AA batteries as some are thicker and a nightmare to get out of the pack once in...

You can check on the xbox guide and the controllers lights start flashing when they're close to running out.
