Hi my birthday is coming up soon and my fiancé had kindly offered to buy me a new build.

here is what i would like to get.

Mobo:

CPU:
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CP-211-IN

Ram: (going to add another set to make 8gig when i have more money)
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MY-069-GL

i saw that the CPU says it can be overclocked to 3.30GHZ i was just wondering will the motherboard i chose be able to overclock it? and also does the motherboard have wifi built in? (not to bothered would just be a bonus)

and Finlay i saw that it is recommended i get a better heat sink if i intend to overclock it, can anyone recommend one

Thanks :)

That board will overclock it to 3.3Ghz.

The board does have WiFi.

And i'd reccomend a Tuniq Tower, Scythe Ninja or Thermalright Ultra Extreme.

:)

Tuniq tower or watercooling kit

I used to have that board and had my Q6600 running at 3.6Ghz happily - its a good board. Tuniq tower or Arctic Freezer 7 Pro will do.

If you just get a retail Q6600, rather than the "guaranteed" one, then you can afford a tuniq tower. Pretty much every 6600 G0 will hit 3Ghz at least. You would be better off with the TT.
