Goldeneye 64

was my favourite game ever, but i tried the N64 rom with goldeneye a couple of years back and it looked really poor lol.

Great game but unforunately it's aged very badly. There's still some N64 games I can still play today and it feels like nothing's changed - Mario Kart 64 and Zelda spring to mind.

I still love and enjoy it but would love to see it come to XBLA for online multiplayer with my mates, single player is still awesome.

Would love it on DS but i dont think they will even consider it considering the battle going on atm :P

Amazing game, easily up there with the best of all time for me. Was very, very hard to get '007' as well, thanks to obtaining the cheat on facility.

Awesome game. I remember walking past a game store when it had just been released, and there were literally dozens of spotty oiks crowded around an N64 playing away.

I had so much fun with this game back in the day. The video remakes are great! :D

I remember spending every penny i had to live on for the month on an N64 and Goldeneye and it was well worth going hungry for! spent countless hours playing the four player split screen mode and had more fun with it than any other console game i can think of.

Classic game, I spent so much time playing it with mates from school back in the day.

Picked up a mint boxed copy about a year back for a fiver :D

When i was at school people would pay me to get them the invincibility cheat off the facility level.

I was playing this on saturday again for the first time in ages and in my opinion it is still a great game (i absolutely love the first bunker level) although i'm no where near as good as i used to be on it, i really struggled with some levels on 00 agent difficulty

I remember the invincibility cheat being entirely dependent on where Dr. Doak would be set at the start. He could appear in about four or five different positions, and if he wasn't in the last area, or possibly the flat tank room (to the right?), you'd have to start again, as getting the cheat was all about running straight through without stopping to think. Top stuff.

That's just it! If Doak was not in the final room i always restarted the mission. The other tactic to that mission was learning how to spray fire the Kf7 correctly to avoid been killed by the gang of 3 soldiers in the first lab section whilst at the same time triggering off the guard behind that room so he would run and open the doors for you saving you yet more time:D

I always remember watching my friends try that mission they would always use the switches to activate the doors not realising if they shoot the glass the guards will run out and open the doors anyway
