I need a cheap graphics card

Hi. I need a cheap PCI-E graphics card which will be used in a machine I have which simply runs virtual machines. It doesn't need to be anything fancy but I don't want it to take any of the system's RAM.

Any recommendations would be appreciated.

Was that a joke? Why would he spend over £90 on a card for desktop use?



The cheapest PCI-E card on their site is the Geforce 8400 @ £21.

Also, if I decide to run the machine through remote desktop, would I even need a graphics card?

Well you would need something in there, even it is is just the onboard graphics set at 64MB in the BIOS. You wouldn't need a screen attached though if you weren't using it as a desktop.
