Reading and Leeds 2008

They won't find it, they *hardly* ever search, and my mate got searched with a huge bulging crotch and they just let him through anyway... Just don't take it out your pants until you get round the crowds that's all. If you do get it taken off you you're only down a bottle of vodka mix and back in the same position you would have been anyway paying through the nose and queuing for pretty naff beer. Whats there to lose really?
 
Call me frivolous, but I'd rather just buy my beer in there than smuggle it in via my crotch. I can't be bothered lugging crates about either plus they just end up getting warm - for drinking in the campsite we'll just buy a cold crate each afternoon between 4 of us.
 
Cereal bars + any other dried foods means you only need to end up buying one "meal" a day, although I'm fairly sure I'll just live off the cheapest food there.

Taking beer and vodka with me and I don't need to be inebriated to enjoy a band so I won't be buying (much) once inside the arena :)
 
Been doing festivals like this since Download started , just can't be bothered at all with the mess, the lugging stuff around and the camping. Costs me a little more, but then I get a cooked breakfast, a nice clean warm bed, a decent shower and a good nights sleep...

ok fruit flavoured lemonade ;) but it still warm and that's not a good taste when you can get cold beer/cider/other random alcohol on site.
 
yeah cold is better. But not really possible a crate between 4 people wont last an hour. So makes buying it at the festival expensive.
 
Warmish cider is fine you lot are too fussy! hehe

My ticket came today, can't wait! I bought my very first tent yesterday. :D
