E-mail banned when trying to update User CP

I recently tried to update my old e-mail address in my user CP but when I tried I was told that my old e-mail address was banned, so I couldn't proceed.

I've tried to contact admin twice now but I've had no response.

I don't know why this would happen :(

Is it a webmail account? I tried my gmail and hotmail accounts when i signed up and it wouldnt let me use them..

Oddly it let me change to gmail once i had signed mind so perhaps that isnt it..

Edit: Argh the simultaneous replies make my head ache

It was a trap, im now having to use a wheelchair for 2 week after not been able to walk

Once you go zefan, you need a wheel chair :(

Anyway cheers ill have to look into it, does it really matter that much if i need it for MM?

Yes you need a valid email address at all times regardless of your involvement in the MM. Bringing the MM into the mix makes it even more neccessary!

:edit: I've been told I am very firm.
 
It's amazing how many people mention this. I don't understand why people don't read the FAQ before you join, because it plainly states that email addresses like Hotmail won't work.

It's like when the search function gets disabled, people immediately post a thread on it, instead of looking to see if another one has been posted already (this is the same for any subject really, but search especially). :p
 
May bad then. I thought it was my old e-mail (provided by my old us ISP) that was banned, not the "hotmail" one.

By the way thanks for the amusing thread :D
