I am curious to see what the lowest wattage PSU's are being used to run these cards :) Oh and the 12V rail also.
EDIT: If any, what adapters are you using? 4 pin to 6 pin, 6 pin to 8 pin etc. Thanks

i was using a 580w hiper psu with my 2900XT which was said to be a hungry beast with all the rest of the specs in my sig. cpu @ 1.6v so using a lot of power etc, 6 case fans all blue led 12cm ones and 4 hdd's so i must have been using a good 550w out of 580w of my old psu. but it was enough to run my 4870x2 but not powerfull enough to run it in games using full 3dclocks etc so iv gone for a tagan 700w psu now, and i have to say tho the hiper 580w blue psu was my favourite of all time in the looks wise and how awsome it did look, i have to say i like this powersupply better, bigger silent fan, cool led's nice modular design nice cable colours for different things, its great :)

Im running a GTX 260 which is overclocked to the same performance levels of a 280 and i use a Enermax 500 watt with dual 14v combined its 44A

Corsair HX520W, E6600 @ 1.4 and HD4870 at 830/1000

Are you sure that GTX260 is performing up the 280 levels? You havent updated your Crymark benchies yet ;)

Well it is in Crysis but the only other games i play are source engine ones :p

ill re-run some this week ;)

I was using a 800w tagan bz series modular psu.. It was pretty then it blew up :/

Now using an enermax modu82+

I was using a Corsair 620 with my 4870X2 but I had to unplug a few drives and wind my cpu OC back 600Mhz for the card to be stable:/ I've since ordered a 750 pc power & cooling unit. :)
