What Uni are you going to?

thats pretty much it, but if you go to newcastle its where you have a week thats 100x better than any other university :p

i attended some of leeds' freshers week with my mates as it started a week before newcastle, but it pales in comparison.

Newcastle you get paintballing, go karting, mini golf, pole dancing, water parks, endless pub crawls, all day bbq's, trips to ikea and asda, trips to every decent sight in newcastle, and of course mecca bingo! and loads more. thats the day. At night you get rediculously drunk have an amazing time and get to see some decent top bands.

Im biased of course as i've done it as a fresher and as crew last year and this year im a supervisor.

So anyone coming to newcastle this year?

ill be the one dressed as the milkybar kid asking you to join me on a pub crawl with supervisor written on my back.

Newcastle is also the best university town in the UK. Fact.

Do you need qualifications to get into university or can they be sometimes waived? I saw the Kent Clearing advert and it sounds like you can get it without the grades?

I didn't go to college either.
 
well its september here and for 2 weeks... win win...

this will be second year but dunno if i will beat last year for good times mind, that was one of best weeks ever
 
Back to Strathclyde University to do my PGDIP in Advanced Architectural Design :D

Tempted to go to freshers week for a laugh though I am 24 now haha!

You could probably apply with just GCSEs or equivalent, but you would need to do a foundation year before starting your degree. If you are interested, you should talk to them, they are usually quite good about it.
 
Well, I've enrolled online and all that jazz. In a couple of days i should have accommodation offers through and can apply for an IT account, this is all going rather smoothly for me :) Got email confirmation through for my lappy :D Now time to read the great big manual titled Stage 1 Handbook wooo :/ :p

The only thing remotely related to this is that if you do Art or Graphics, Apple will heavily discount products.

Never heard of them giving them away free though.

That suks I'm not :(, oh well I'll live with my big heavy PC. At least it'll be able to stay on 24/7, no parents moaning for electric bills :p

I wish microsoft would heavily discount stuff for IT courses.
