Same here. though if I'm honest I wasn't that inclined to take a peek anyhow. Didn't really wish to see my wife sliced open.

I did, on two of mine, thought it was great
The wife also seemed to find it comforting to have me telling her it was coming instead of the midwife.
If I am being completely honest, I was choked during the entire birth. While to an outsider it probably looks gross, to me it was beautiful to see my boys being born

It did not put me off at all, I saw my first one come out but the second came out with forseps so i was not allowed to see

Once I had a look I felt much better !!

When my wife was being stitched the needle came off the syringe and the needle was literally "flapping "
