thought you might be interested in this response I got from Artic Cooling in the UK.

You are correct - there has been a number of delays. However , they are now in production and stock will be leaving befroe the end of Aug. I may try to fly some in to the UK. You will then find it in stock after this at Overclockers.

Yeah been keeping an eye on this myself, will be intresting to see how it performs.

Arctic Cooling claims that it cools a Core 2 Quad QX9770 to 42.6°C with the fan running at 1,500rpm, compared with Intel's stock cooler managing 60°C at 2,850rpm. Arctic Cooling says that at these settings, the cooler also only produces just 0.5 Sone, of noise compared to the Intel stock cooler’s 1.75 Sone, meaning that the cooler will also be very quiet.
