Yea great, perfect car for his mum. I'm sure she'll easily justify paying the running costs for a 200bhp turbo car

Thats a write off.

I knew someone was going to do it and lets face it, so did you.

How absolute are your (her) requirements that you've stated? Have you looked at Mini Coopers/Suzuki Swifts? Mums seem to like them and they're good cars.

EDIT: http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/627834.htm something like that? Granted it's over 2 years old, hence the reason me asking how important the "not over 2 years old" requirement was.

No exact requirements but comments about mondeo size cars are greeted with - thats too big etc

In a perfect world she would love a convertible but its not going to happen in this price bracket (she ADORES the 207cc) :)

no idea what that means

whats it refer to

V-Car means the car has been an insurance write-off at some point during it's life.

This could through an accident, theft and recovery or flooding.

There are four categories.

Category A (Worst) : Example: a burned out shell, CANNOT be put back on the road.

Category B : Example: Very bad accident damage, car CANNOT be put back on the road but parts can be re-used.

Category C : Example : Severe accident damage, car CAN be out back on the road.

Category D : Example : Theft Recovery/Flooding/minor/moderate accident damage, car CAN be put back on the road.
