Media center in the lounge

Ok here the situation:

i have a nice tft tele in the lounge but my pc with my films/music (all legal stuff) is in my bedroom.

I need some sort of device/HTPC/media thing to go in the lounge to connect to the tv so i can play stuff off my pc on the tele.

It has to have a good menu system n good for browsin thru stuff and must play divx/xvid all versions.

have tried using the media sharing on ps3 but its codec support is crap,

also thought about http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=HD-109-LC but it says it only supports xvid so out of the question.


Any1 got any idea's? cheers

if a media PC is an option, this should output HD stuff without a problem due to the chipset on the MB

it should also remove most issues of not being able to find the correct codecs for your stuff.

you may want to add blu ray drive, TV card etc if they are required

try in the console forum, no trouble streaming anything of a mates

get better codecs/players on the PC!
