in my experience, all soundcards are better in xp at the moment

im getting lag, the sound card is switching channels and having noise in between , also moving around windows gives me lag so it could be Nvidia drivers

Xonar D2X has been perfect for me in Vista on any of the drivers either the latest betas or the CD included ones. If your having any probs most likely not the soundcard or drivers methinks.
