The way the cats get held up so high on this forum makes me feel uneasy about the company that I share. Ceiling cat, lolzcat... yeah, amazing.... Christ, the most stupid posts i've ever seen in GD is about cats and how amazing they are.

You would be more manly owning a guinea pig. Honestly. Owning a cat is a lamers way out of responsibility. No taking the thing out for walks, just take photos all day of it's paws in "funny poses" or it sticking it's head out from a make believe ceiling.

Too true. Cats, like their owners, lack any cohesion in their lives. They try to over compensate for the fact they don't fit in by pretending to have a blasé attitude in acting like they don't care. They are unloyal because they lack the basic want to belong as they've been isolated for so many years because of the single underlying truth. Cats have no purpose, they aren't cool and the only thing their ever really good at is to be laughed at by everyone. Not laughed with, laughed at. Thats why dog threads fail, people care to much about them because of a mutual loyalty between a person and their dog.

Cats are clever creatures like their owners, having a cat as a pet means you get a soft companion like a dog, but one that walks itself and doesn't require you to make chit-chat with mindless dog walkers. Cats don't smell either.
