With it being bank holiday weekend this weekend I'm trying to think of something interesting to do on Monday. I was thinking about going to Drayton manor but I imagine that'll be packed. Whats everyone else upto? Any ideas for possible day outs ~1hour either side of staffordshire? We went to Stratford for the day last time but that wasn't too interesting.

Buy weekend tickets for Reading Festival, Thursday-Monday's entertainment sorted tbh.

Mondays not interesting. Nursing a hangover trying to drive home without falling asleep. Stick the washing machine on. Ordering takeaway, whilst you have a shower. then crash in bed and sleep for about 18hours.

Although I'm going to behave this year and either leave later or get to bed before 6am and getting up aty 7am to miss the worse of the rush.

Monday morning after reading..

driving home the 5 hour journey at 2am, having redbull after espresso after pro-plus, and then getting home and falling asleep in a chair after trying to control your body enough from the caffeine to turn on the computer, then sleeping for about 20 hrs (with a lunch break ).

I remember those sort of journeys when I went to leeds for a few years. I'm glad the drive know is only 2hours, which includes dropping people of.

Spending the day with my b/f and my family. Most likely we will all be going out for the day (I have a few nieces so will probably end up chillaxing with them in plesy woods near us, jumping in rivers etc). I'll be nursing some bruises most likely off paintballing on the sunday, so will prob just want to stay in bed feeling pathetic.

Do this. Get loads of bacon and white bread in on Sunday, then go to the nearest pub.

Monday = hangover + bacon sandwiches + DVDs = win.

I'll be working overtime fortunately. I wanted the day off but the money was too much to be turned down.

Bank holidays generally suck though. It's like another Sunday.
