Best 1000w PSU

do me a lemon, thats just silly. what difference does it actually make?

It depends. It does make the voltage drop and might introduce noise.

Say you are spending £150 to £300 on a psu, you would want and expect the best voltage figures available.

In real life, how much of a difference it makes to a pc or overclock stability is debatable.

says who? seriously, measure it lol. i know of cables that cost more to produce than the retail price of your psu and they arent gold plated either. they dont seem to have problems with voltage drop and noise.

Some review sites, the psu manufacturers themselves.

But yeah it may drop the volts by 0.01v and you say who would notice and you would be right.

However high end psu's are judged by voltage drop and noise so anything which gives you a slight edge over the competition counts.

It's the same as swimmers shaving their bodies to save 1/100th of second in a race.

Well i switched from a 700w seasonic to my current supply, I got higher clocks, systems seems more stable and less prone to crashing. I was orginaly going to for a skull trail systems but well ekkk at the price lol, I'm picky i like the best of the best and PCP&C was the best power supply i could source at the time, I'm a electronice engineer by trade and the half hight low quality stuff there goes in most supplys makes me cringe lol, Plus its handy to have around when i was playing with a Tri SLI 280 GTX's :p
