Anyone got a 4850 BIOS I can download?

Am wondering if someone has a 4850 BIOS which only has the voltages upped to 1.2, but still at stock clocks?

Had a play myself, but not sure if I did it right, so thought it would just be easier to get one off someone who might have done it already.

Thanks, that looks like the closest to what I am looking for.

All those listed on the main bios page on techpowerup were either all stock or had fan profiles too high, etc.

Whenever I tried editing my own windows would not like the cards.

If I don't have any luck with that one, will just have to stick with stock.

Just trying to work out if I want to keep these cards or my 4870. The 4850's are oberviously a bit faster - Crysis settings can be cranked a fair bit higher, and with the 4870 Assassins Creed with max except for AA on 2/3 would drop to mid 20 fps in some parts, whereas with the 4850's can max even AA and doesn't drop below mid 30 fps.

Though my ET:QW performance seems to be all over the place again witht he 4850's :(

Thats with OCed 4870 and stock 4850's.

I presume you are weighing up a pair of 4850's against a single 4870? Unfortunately Crossfire always gives mixed results as so many games either don't support it at all and use one card or poorly support it so don't take full advantage. A 4870 will be better in these situations, but the rest will be better with the two cards. Personally I would stick with the crossfire setup. They are becoming far more common and a far greater number of upcoming games will support them than not :)

I am leaning that way currently. I do love the 4870 though.

One thing that is deifnitely better on the 4870 is that in Crysis, textures are there pretty much instantly, whereas with the 4850's it can take a sec to load - down to higher bandwidth provided by the ddr5 I am sure.
