If your undereating your stomach can become bloated from extra water intake i think. But as everyone else says, don't worry about your body image, your fine.

At your age muscle hasn't really started developing properly yet, so its no big deal. Probably growing out before growing up, its the way i always did.

Oh and i'm a vegi too, has done no harm to me whatsoever, see ignore all the ignorant "you need meat" comments .

Eat untill your full, eat a bit more at meals, you should be eating more than most your family anyway, avoid snacking if it worries you, but it really isn't a big deal.

Well done on writing maturely at your age too.

Right mate, here it is, since you're wierd and don't like meat, cheese.
Eat copious amounts of fattening cheese, get a block of chedder and eat it, all of it, every last bit. Keep going, you'll gain weight.
I've had turds which weigh more than 5 stone, you need to gain weight badly. Plus cheese is incredibly filling.

Not really ignorant, but practical. From what we know he probbably doesn't eat a good diet or very much, also at 14 I doubt he is following a good veggie diet to get the protein, and other things that are harder to get without meat (especially with him avoiding "processed food").

So it would be a much simpler solution to eat meet than go to all the hassle of planning and sticking to a diet.

Especially when it's his mum doing all the cooking and shopping ;)

But I guess it's just easier to spit at people from your pedestal than to actually think it through ;)

It is ignorant to state that you need meat, you don't. What you do need is a healthy and balanced diet which contains a mix of vitamins, nutrients, proteins, fats etc. And nor is it necessarily practical at all. As I've suggested if it is for religious reasons then it isn't practical in the least to change. If the OP is opposed to it for moral reasons or simply doesn't like the taste then it isn't hugely easy to change either so unless they became vegetarian on a whim the chances are slim that they can easily change.

Especially when it's his mum doing all the cooking and shopping ;)

That makes it more difficult to sort out your own diet but I'd suspect if his mum is anything like mine she is probably quite amenable to making some alterations to her cooking and diet plan to help her son.

But I guess it's just easier to spit at people from your pedestal than to actually think it through ;)

Think it through? I've worked damn hard to get this pedestal after my high horse, the next step is the ivory tower and then we'll see who is laughing. ;)

But he clearly isn't having a balanced diet and probbably doesn't even know what a good balance would even be.

You need to get on the gold points system, we get a free golden throne and keyboard

5 stone, 14, vegetarian, don't like eating certain foods and worried about your weight. Summary: Ever come to the realisation that you could be homosexual?
When i was your age i just ate and ate and all i cared about was football and my playstation 2, you're too young to care about your weight.
