My parent's are encouraging me to eat, if I want to eat , they don't say no. Just the other day my mum bought a box of krispy kremes, yum!I wonder if OP's parents are to blame or perhaps the goverment for pushing "healthy eating" for the OP's attitude?
Oh and i'm a vegi too, has done no harm to me whatsoever, see ignore all the ignorant "you need meat" comments.
Well done on writing maturely at your age too.
Not really ignorant, but practical. From what we know he probbably doesn't eat a good diet or very much, also at 14 I doubt he is following a good veggie diet to get the protein, and other things that are harder to get without meat (especially with him avoiding "processed food").
So it would be a much simpler solution to eat meet than go to all the hassle of planning and sticking to a diet.
Especially when it's his mum doing all the cooking and shopping![]()
But I guess it's just easier to spit at people from your pedestal than to actually think it through![]()
It is ignorant to state that you need meat, you don't. What you do need is a healthy and balanced diet which contains a mix of vitamins, nutrients, proteins, fats etc. And nor is it necessarily practical at all. As I've suggested if it is for religious reasons then it isn't practical in the least to change. If the OP is opposed to it for moral reasons or simply doesn't like the taste then it isn't hugely easy to change either so unless they became vegetarian on a whim the chances are slim that they can easily change.
Think it through? I've worked damn hard to get this pedestal after my high horse, the next step is the ivory tower and then we'll see who is laughing.![]()
something you're trying to tell ocuk?the reason I started this thread is because I was confused
