I really really enjoyed watching the live stream of E3 on Gamespot, so if this is better, I can't wait. :D

They are showcasing some games as a publisher, but they are not there as a hardware manufacturer and are not having a press conference as far as I am aware.
 
Ah, I see. There's still plenty of things that I find interesting, so not a huge loss for me. Although, I am really intrigued by their latest update announcement.
 
Can somebody explain to me how and when the coverage begins on Gamespot. It says the 18th - 24th on the website, but other places say 20th-24th. Even so, is it starting later today, maybe?

Pardon my ignorance, but I've been searching for a while. :p

Theres no live stream if thats what you're asking about.
 
Ah, I just assumed there was by the way you named your links: "GAMESPOT LIVE COVERAGE' that there was a live stream.

My mistake, I misunderstood. :p

The speed looks better. Visuals, same old. No sound so can't comment on that.

To be honest, the only way I would get PES 2009 is if the online wasn't laggy, which I have zero hope for. To be honest, I am more hyped up for FIFA 09 anyway so I don't really care.

Apparently there have been new d-pads spotted on the 360 controllers, more responsive and are now using diagonals as well. It is on CVG just now but they are waiting to update it with pictures. Good news if indeed true as I use the d-pad for PES(well before I got sucked in by Fifa) so the increased respsonsiveness and control is what was missing.
 
Well i be seriously honest i dont see much difference from last year nothing stood out in video apart from slower pace. Now for me its ok to go back to PES 5 but if not improved on much just dont cut mustard for me. I want the game to do what it did best and add more to that not just go oh its now how it was everyone will instantly like it because of this.

I have read 2 editorials and they said need to play it to see how its really changed saying this the people playing in video were not that great.

But the difference for me is i see Fifa 09 videos and i immediately can see difference but when i see that PES gameplay video its like nothing changed. I read no more slowdown etc which is plus and about time it seems to eradicated the problems of last year although no mention of anything online related yet.

Yep its true, the controller looks the same (so don't expect much from the photos), they have just redesigned the the D-Pad internals.
By all accounts it works a treat :D

The 80Gb PS3 RRP in Euros is 399 so this is 50 E more with 70 E worth of DL stuff good value for money IMO. Like the singstar PS2 to PS3 stuff, interesting to note the PS2 disks will work on an non BC PS3.
 
Keyboard that goes into the USB port on the controller? I can't imagine that being or looking any good. Will have to wait and see what it looks like.
