Can anyone recommend any good cycling forums? I have some bike related questions which I doubt anyone here will be able to help with, so I'm looking for somewhere more specialized than a PC forum. ;)

Instead of posting in a pointedly insulting fashion, why not just ask us nicely? There's a fair few people on here that know a lot about cycles.

Why is it insulting? I'm not accusing anyone of lacking cycling knowledge. I know there are cycling people here (check the thread title), but I would rather ask my questions on a reputable cycling forum where I am likely to get a much better response.

Thanks for the above recommendation (bike radar) I'll take a look.

Like some of your recent posts it was rude though. As you're after information, there's no harm in asking nicely is there?

You still haven't actually told us what it is you're after, even a vague clue.

If you don't like my posts add my username to your ignore list. Problem solved.

Actually I've told you exactly what I'm after - a recommendation for a good bike forum, since I figured there might be cyclists here who post on them.

As for any more specific information about what I want to ask there, I don't see how that is even related to this thread. You're clearly taking this request too personally. I wasn't insulting anyone at all.

And you may want to consider the tone of your own posts before you jump on other people.

Many forums are specifically built around certain aspects of their subject. If you're asking questions for commuting then a road bike forum might suit best, whereas if you want to throw yourself off mountains on a bike they probably wouldn't be able to help you much.

Just looking for a general all-purpose biking forum. Kind of a bike equivalent of OcUK :D

I guess I'll give bike radar a go then.

I saw the original post with a wink on the end and thought nothing of it. arent people over reacting a tad?

i normally think seeks posts are a bit arsey at times, but this one is fine?
