What a shame. I was really rooting for you to be banned.

It does kinda make of a mockery of the fact that I pay over £1000 per year to insure my 3 vehicles when I could just not bother and eat a £300 fine instead.

It's the inconsistency I hate. You've got 10 points and £300 for two very serious offences, I've got £120 and 6 points for an SP30 (41 on a dual carriageway that was 30, following the flow of rush hour traffic) and an SP50 for 81 on the bloody M180 - at 7:30, with sod all else around.

I have no sympathy for people who either drive without insurance, or drive whilst under the influence of alcohol/drugs.

To do both - lets just say I hope I never meet someone like you and find that person bragging about "getting away with it", because, even though I'm usually a calm-mannered person, that could be enough to send me over the edge.

You should be banned for breaking the law on two pretty serious accounts.


You should be banned on the forum for what appears to be bragging about it with very little remource or afterthought of your actions.

i got 10 points total a provisonal license until i retake my test (but i can still drive at the moment until i get a letter from dvla) and a £300 fine inc all costs which im paying back at £15 a month lol.
