Didn't Sony moan at Ms for having too many SKU's?
No, but a lot of the Sony fanboys here did.

One interesting feature of the keypad peripheral is a Touch Pad Button that allows the entire surface of the keyboard to be used as mouse pointer by sliding a finger over the surface of the keypad.
True but, they are still selling the PS2 and it's making them shed loads of cash. Would be a shot in ones foot to offer BC again, not a good marketing decision imo. That's just dumb.
Unless they do intend to sell PS2 games via PSN at some point, it would make much more sense to put BC back in, rather than putting a larger HDD in that a: people can already do cheaply/easily on their own b: doesn't enable you to do a single thing that you couldn't do with the 40gb model.
At £350 the price has gone up, would make more sense to raise the price putting in something that people actually care about.
Possibly, but I wouldn't have thought the people who are buying the PS2 this late care either way. But it could be said the lack of PS3 is costing Sony sales, I think that's far more likely (and of more concern).True but, they are still selling the PS2 and it's making them shed loads of cash. There's no reason they couldn't have both (not in terms of one harming the other anyway), they're very different markets.maybe they should but bc in the ps3 and stop selling the ps2 then as it would make them more money
All this and they cant even put an IR sensor in the thing
So I dont need to use another remote just to use the ps3, when I already have one single remote that controls everything else

You can get an infra red dongle for a PS3, just get a cheap PS3 remote and have your super dooper all in one remote learn it. I like my blue tooth one its much better than "last gen" lol infrared.![]()
Yea same, Bluetooth is a lot better, no need to be pointing it at things + 10 metre range. You could also get a dual Bluetooth & Infra-red univeral remote.
I dont think anyone makes a bluetooth and infra-red remote, certainly not a good one anyway.
