Good zombie movies

I had to stop watching Brain Dead halfway through because it made me feel ill.

There was a zombie film on tv a little while ago. I cant remember what it was called but they were in an underground facility surrounded by zombies and they were doing experiments on the zombies and then the soldiers end up being the bad guys. It wasnt bad, also it appears the latest resident evil rips off parts of it.

That'd be Day of the Dead. It isn't all that good.

I think its just the combination of its australianess, ear eating and headless zombie sex that did it. Just thinking about it makes me feel ill.

It was good till the end. I haven't read the book but it was a shocking ending. Tbh I would have preferred it if he didn't meet that women and her kid.

Anyway.. they are not zombies... so that's why it's not a zombie film.

Check out the proper alternative ending...it would have been a far better and more thought out movie had they used the real ending.

I wanted to go buy a mower straight after I watched it, even at 1am :D

THe original dawn of the dead is stunning, and even though the remake was amazing, it still didn't have quite the effect that original had on me.

Really need to see REC, watched alone in the dark on tv the other week and it was horrible, truly horrible.

Haven't seen Zombie Strippers, but you guys complaining about the lack of real boobs, you must have seen the R Rated print, the extreme version is out in October (US)

There is now a new ending to the I am Legend film.I think you can get it on the blu-ray,seen it when I was in America,its a better ending than the public release but still could have been better.
 
I watched [REC] last night. Absolutely brilliant. Scary, tense and well paced - although only 75 mins long. I highly recommend it to any zombie fan. I've no doubt the Hollywood remake (Quarantine) will be a poor imitation.
 
One more vote for REC.

Not the most pleasant film but made me feel very claustrophobic and very stuck.

One thing puzzled me in the film........

The girl locked up in the attic obviously caused the whole spreading of the "thing". BUt how? She was locked up. Did she spit on the little girls dog or something?
