Firstly, I seem to be arguing with several ARsenal fans, I don't remember claiming anywhere in my post i was replying to you and you alone.
You quoted him, and then kept saying "you" all the time. How can you not understand that this would make him think you're talking to him? Do you even understand how the English language works? If you wanted to address me, use my name or quote me, it's pretty simple.
Just way way to many people equate good player with the amount he runs or the number of touches on the ball, neither of which have anything remotely to do with how good they are.Fitness does not equal quality. To claim Flamini was out best player last year, when Fabregas plays for us, just shows how shockingly little you know.
Fabregas is always top quality, I'll admit, and there was hardly anything in it, but yes, Flamini
was our best player last season, and I honestly can't believe you stupid enough to say he was complete rubbish.
I'm not going to quote the rest of your guff, but your basic argument appears to be "Flamini got too far forwards after the start of the season", which is just rubbish. Yes he pushed up as the season moved on, but that's because him and Fabregas developed an understanding together, and that allowed them to roam more. Cesc also likes to get back and take the ball from defense as that allows him to control the play more. But to then suggest that Flamini never bothered to track back any more is nonsense. I watched the same games as you too, and he was always there, breaking up play, making important (and brilliantly timed) tackles and shoring up the defence. The fact Toure and Gallas could't form a decent understanding was far more detrimental to our season than Flamini.
In fact, since you don't seem to let arguments sway your bizarre opinions, lets try stats. Flamini is a defensive player, so let's rate him on his defensive work eh? Not how many goals he's scored. Of the 8 games we lost last season, try and guess how many Flamini played in near-fully? The answer is one. One whole game.
Also, we conceeded nearly as many goals without Flamini playing as we did
with him, which, considering he played a good 75%+ of the season, I think is also kind of telling.
Go on, admit it, you're on a wind-up. You're G14's alternate account aren't you.
