Cryostasis: Sleep of Reason

It's like a cross between doom3, bioshock, res evil, condemned all in one.

Neat.

Widescreen support and I'm happy.

its all about atmosphere with me, and this seems to look like it will deliver that. cant wait

i agree , it does seem like a mix of bioshock and doom3, lets just see how creative they can be with this .

Reminded me of Penumbra to start with.

Can't say it looks to scary tbh.

I still remember playing Silent Hill on the PS1, sitting in a dark room at 2am playing it on a 32" TV. Wandering through the school with limited vision and a radio that crackled when a bad guy was close. Now that was scary :D

I can't wait for this, been following it for some time actually :)

It's pretty cool, you get to 're-live' past moments...Say if you come across a dead body, you'll be able to go back to a point just before they died...And theoretically stop them from dying by controlling said person, thus changing the story somewhat.

When Nesterov approaches one of the dead crew, he triggers a mental echo--a flashback of the final moments of the crewman's life. We saw one crewman who had an unfortunate fight with a shipping crane and, well, the crane won. During the mental echo, Nesterov sprinted to the crane control to move the deadly hook away from the crewman. You don't actually go back to save his life, but the spirit is sufficiently moved by your actions in the mental echo to help you solve the mystery onboard the North Wind and, then, go on to rest in peace.

I'll like it, it's different, set in 1968 I think it said.

sounds like it might be quite good. i think i might get bored of it very quickly tho! i'll keep my eye on it you never know.

After watching the video I have no idea whether I think it will be great or awful. I'll have another look into it after it has been reviewed.
