OSC - Operation Support Co Ordinator
Which means that I implement new systems and also keep our business critical systems running, so that we don't have down time which costs us 1050 quid a minute... I have backup systems of backup systems...
I also do other ICT stuff for the business and still not paid enough

Sounds like fun.. ah i'm sure you are being paid more than the average IT lemon! Especially working these messed up hours!
To tell you the truth its really stressful, especially when you get the client (about 4 representatives) standing next to you at 4am in the morning asking me why a wrong part was sent trying to find any excuse to give me a right pasting...
You would be surprised with what I get paid! The overtime pay is good but very sparse at the moment

Report him to his boss & maybe if you do so enough times they'll sack the ignorant ****.

And I bet you never even said anything to him? What is it with IT people thinking "Oooh I'll block that rather than ask them first".
I'm all for moaning/blocking/crying or whatever AFTER you've asked them politely. If you havent ever raised it as an issue how do they know you dont mind it?! Raise it as an issue first, say you're trying to work so could he turn it down and go from there.
If he turns out to be an idiot (which most people wont be if you just SPEAK to them) then fair enough take it further. Try talking - it's what your mouth is for. Unless you're female then there's better things you can be doing with it
