Right ive decided to get one of these but looking in the 4850 section which one do i go for £150 max is my limit. Should i wait for the 1024MB's to be instock or would a 512MB do and is there any difference between the names or is it any one will do?. One thing of note is my pc is located wheres theres not much airflow and reading some reviews on the cards some peoples do run hot. Mine will be left standard and not overclocked, will it be ok with the standard cooler?

I am sure that the Iceq 4 is the right one, just have not seen any reviews.

Anyone with an Iceq 3 care to comment on noise and heat?

I had a pair of ICEQ3 3870's and they were at the time awesome, replaced with a pair of 4850 with Zalaman GV1000's. The cards clocked well and never rose above 72c. The fans never ramped over 60% and I never noticed the noise over my OCZ Stealth psu.

sorry if this is off-topic but the better cooled HD4850's end up in the 98000gtx+ price range. Then what do you do? is the 4850 still better?
