However, I would choose Judas Priest anyday (except those awful albums they did with Tim 'Ripper' Owens, Demolition and Jugulator iirc, yuk) ...the very best albums they did (for me at least) were Sad Wings of Destiny in 1976 and the latest album, Nostradamus. I have been so impressed with that, it's a fantastic album, really, really good and much more appealing to my tastes, with it's slower more complex and even symphonic presentation. I enjoyed the Pain Killer and Ram it on Down era a lot, that was pretty well the definition of 'heavy metal' for me, but I always liked Sad Wings of Destiny better and now Nostradamus has rekindled that genius for me.
