PSU has published a preview based on what they saw at an EA Sports event earlier in the month.

Earlier this month during the EA Sports event, PSU.com was given a first look at the new flagship title for EA’s Freestyle brand, Facebreaker. According to EA, Facebreaker is an arcade boxing title with the goal to bring back pick up and play social gaming.

Yes i did like it but that was from a era where you couldn't create realistic graphics like todays consoles

i cant see what the problem is then? its supposed to be a fun arcade boxer, youve got fight night if you want something more realistic.

The problem is i don't like the graphics...? I haven't been a fan of the style since XII(I?) I can't see something like this selling as much as a game like fight night.

I like fun arcadey games but i like more realistic graphics also.

I'm comparing the gfx style(cartoony) not game type/play.

I don't need the gameplay to be realistic but i prefer a game with a more realistic look to it.

Well clearly it's not a serious, realistic boxing game, so realistic graphics wouldn't really suit it, would it?

Looks kinda cool, reminds me of Ready 2 Rumble Boxing on the DC, which was awesome.

That's an old comment and it was going by the old pics in the OPs link. After watching a recent video it seems decent if you like that kind of game.

Sadly it's not decent. I'd have loved an updated Ready 2 Rumble, I don't think this is it though.

From what I played of the demo, the only thing this has in common with boxing is that your attacks are predominantly punches. It doesn't actually feel like boxing at all to me, which Ready 2 Rumble did (even with all the OTT parts).
