great car, common sense has had me try and get rid of my ST2 a couple of times but a lack of conviction coupled with a lack of interest has made me decide to stick with it. 48000 miles and it still brings a smile to my face with the popping and banging.
Plenty fact enough, very comfy, well specced (well, mine is
), fast when you need it to be, easy to drive when you want something relaxing.
I'd say look 06/56/07, find one you like the look of and offer low.. I expect they're going for silly low amounts of money in the current climate, buyer rules when petrol is expensive, the economy is shagged and you're selling a car that struggles to get to 25mpg through towns.

Cooper S is well suited to nice flat smooth tarmac. Take it down the average B-road with holes/bumps cambers etc and it does not inspire confidence that you get with a bigger car I found it scary. I think people think the cooper S is quicker than it actually is. I did not like it.

Yes RX8s are brilliant and even 07s can be had cheaply. Im not THAT much of a fan though, I prefer instant whoosh with the foot down, (more feeling than physical speed)
